#NEWSOCRACY brings together policy makers, academics, journalists, citizens and existing initiatives for transparency of media ownership structures to discuss media ownership concentration in Spain - and Europe. How to track transparency of media ownership and funding of media? This session will take stock of previous and ongoing initiatives in this field, and discuss with researchers, investigative journalists and practitioners different approaches and potential tools to enhance transparency of media ownership in Europe.
